Don't bother the techs.

Seriously, don't. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but all I'm getting is that it's the equivalent of being hacked and someone who knows layer theory better than we do is out there screwing things up and tampering with the project.

I don't have a really good update for you guys, but bear with us. Please?

Interesting how you ask us to bear with it when there are no answers for what's happening. I hope you'll be able to solve things soon along with an explanation of the current changes to the city.

I'll try to keep my faith in the network.

...For now...

I hope that we'll get some answers too. That way you won't regret having faith in the network.

Are you okay, Ms.Nikolaev?

I hope we do too. I have many questions about this network that I would like the answer to soon.

I'm getting better Nanashi, thank you. It's been busy between finals and the end of the semester.

[Well, besides the other things that's happened, but he doesn't need to know that.]

I'm happy that you're getting better. It's amazing how you're still focusing on school during all this.

I managed to catch up on most of my homework? Spent some time with some private tutors and it helped.

Do you mind reading my essay later?

A teacher's work is never done ^^
Though I did notice the changes among the city
I never imagined the colors to disappear like that
Good, I'm glad you were able to catch up
Of course not, you can send it to me when you're ready

It's kind of hard to not notice all the changes going around here.

You'd have to be living under a rock to not see it.

Thanks, I'll send it over soon. I'm getting better at taking notes because of you!

It would be difficult to ignore the changes and the way they drastically change the city

You're welcome. I'm happy to know that my method is working ^^

Will school be out for you soon? I can help you study for your final tests too.

I'll be finished school soon, yeah. That'll be one year of high school off my back.╭( ・ㅂ・)و ̑̑ "

Can I go back to middle school when the content was more simple?

Frustrating, isn't it? I have a feeling that if they do solve things, we will hear nothing about it, and if they don't... well, we'll probably hear next to nothing about it, but we will certainly experience it.
While I prefer the former, I can't say it makes me happy either way.

We'll probably hear about it when something big happens to the city again.
For everything they fix I have more questions about it that we won't get the answers too.
It can be frustrating cause I want to know more.
I do hope we can learn more in time.
However, I think we may have no choice.

Exactly my point. We're only ever clued in when something goes hideously pear-shaped in what I'm being led to believe is the fabric of space-time. Though I'm not a scientist and would prefer to leave the more serious existential dread to them.
As it is, like you said, we can do nothing but sit pretty - or at the very least sit unpleasantly and complain, if no other occupation presents itself.

It would be nice to get a little warning of things beforehand
Maybe they think this is a sufficient warning about the new problem facing the city
I suppose as long as we can continue on in the city then they assume we'll be okay
However, last time things were a little complicated with the lack of color

[personal profile] theveilisin 2018-07-01 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
It would certainly spare me the creeping sensation that the persistent shocks will at some point be the end of me. If they truly consider this adequate warning for whatever is to come, they are probably severely overestimating the sturdiness of my nerves.
I must say I'm impressed by the sheer brazenness of that understatement. "A little complicated" is certainly a way to express what I experienced when I found that all of my stock had lost its color.
