Don't bother the techs.

Seriously, don't. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but all I'm getting is that it's the equivalent of being hacked and someone who knows layer theory better than we do is out there screwing things up and tampering with the project.

I don't have a really good update for you guys, but bear with us. Please?

Hitori Togusa Still in custody outside of Pesgare. If anybody can find me a way to get a special dispensation to question him? I’d do it. But I dont actually have jurisdiction in Pesgare. Think it’s one of the things I like about the place.

Hitori Togusa Hell no. It’d be betraying my superiors and the very system I work for. No different than Retrospec’s toying with our minds. Just one more level down. I do it over the table or not at all.

Still, that puts us at a disadvantage. This reality-hacking BS doesn't sound like something done strictly by the book. Never mind whether or not Retrospec itself is.

Hitori Togusa They're not. Even if I also want to stop whoever is messing with the process, the end goal is still to bring Retrospec to justice for their crimes. I'm not wavering on that idea.

Hard to negotiate when you can't exactly talk freely to them, even now... There must be some other way to get intel.

I'll see what I can do, then. It'd be a shame, give up my almost-anonymity in Pesgare. They don't treat me like a cop there. But it might be worth it.

What would you want to ask Hawthrone? If you had him for five minutes?
