[Pretend it's a picture of the uniform laid out on the bed] I recently got this in the maibox. It's my other self's school uniform. For those who don't know, he went to a wizarding school in the UK. The green represents the house his was in (it's like a dorm for you non-Brits). His house was called Slytherin, which usually has students in it who were ambitious and cunning. It doesn't really fit though. I can put the robe on and that's about it. But considering this was probably his uniform when he was around 16 or so, it makes sense. Thoughts? Opinions?

I'm assuming so. I've only had a small memory of a transfiguration class where two of my classmates came in late and the professor transformed from a tabby cat back into a human just to scold them.

That's actually something I have a frame of reference for - humans transforming into other things and back again. I can't say I've ever seen anyone turn into a proper animal like a cat, however.

I think she's an animagus (a witch or wizard that can magically turn into an animal at will).

It was mentioned in a Defense against the Dark Arts class when we were learning about werewolves. Because there'obviously a difference.

Willing transformation as opposed to...well, lycanthropy, I assume.

Well according to Granger, werewolves have no choice in when they transform and they also can't recognize any of their friends when they transform. Thus, they could kill their best friend if they were nearby.
