I don't have any memories of him going to a doctor or a therapist or anything, but I've remembered three separate suicide attempts, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say he had something that really could have used some help.

Isn't the point of suicide that you die, stay dead so you

1)don't suffer
2)don't bug people anymore

I know he wanted to die again and had to be talked down from another, post-death attempt. It's hard to say with him what the 'point' was.

I know what ya said about him being a dick and all, but if someone else talked him down. Maybe he got a little better. That kind of weight couldn't have been easy to carry, especially pushing people away like that.
