I more or less went about my day not thinking anything was too strange. I did notice that I hadn't spoken to some people I know in a while, or that I hadn't seen them around, but I assumed it was some sort of coincidence and was content to ignore it. Visually speaking the changes didn't strike me as odd; they'd always been like that, as far as I was concerned.
