I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. I don't have a problem with helping something that affects myself and so many other people, but the circumstances surrounding it and how our help is requested are questionable at best.

Agreed. Helping isn't the problem.

Method matters, or ethics wouldn't be an issue. How much could a little transparency affect them when we're so greatly affected as is?

Precisely. I would understand the desire for security now given recent events, but they've never been very forthcoming.

It's almost as if they're expecting to be attacked.

It's not that unimaginable of a threat. The city was attacked before.

If they expect it, they're only putting us more in danger by keeping us in the dark. IF they can't guarantee their own safety, they can't guarantee ours.

I wish someone had the ability to reveal all their secrets.

I agree. If they want us to be involved it's best they keep us in the loop.
