Per the mod plotting post, you may use this post to obtain one of this month's freebies! This month's freebie can be earned by turning in a thread on this post that has 10 or more consecutive comments from you.
Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Alphas, Betas, and Epsilons will notice that network posts will continue to be tagged without names attached but rather their newly issued IDs. OOCly, IDs are comprised of their title, the date they showed up on the app, and the digits on your character's inbox post. So for example, the Recollé NPC who was on the app would have an ID of Beta#0201188329. While user pictures can be displayed, Retrospec users will also experience broken pixels on occasion that obscure the face of whoever they're speaking to. (i.e. we will allow for players to play with an anonymous option if they wish.) |

I sing. I'm an idol.
I held a show on for my official fan club on Girl's Day two years ago. My designers outdid themselves with that outfit. I want to use it again, but I need the right occasion.
[ just pretend the outfit isn't from some niche idol game and akutagawa is the pasty little chuuni instead in place of the even littler pasty little chuuni........ ]

Oh wow, that's amazing! I'll have to look up some of your songs sometime! And that is an amazing out. Totally Goth but in a forward way! Very inspired. I would definitely love to see you in it!
[ Yogi will probably cry later listening to your music, Akutagawa - why is it so sad? So dark?! Who hurt you? You will get sad emote text messages. And probably a sobbing voice message. YOU DID THIS YOURSELF. ]

If there is ever an appropriate time here, I'll have it shipped over. I'm open to doing lives here in the States, but I'm very particular about my costumes. I have yet to find a more accessible designer here.

[ He might cry after, and text you because of it, but it's okay Akutagawa. You'll also be getting a link to a website, Akutagawa - Yogi's portfolio. Turns out he's pretty fanciful for a designer. Even his men's wear likes to focus on unique shaping, angles, and fabrics. ]
I would love to see it in person if you do get it brought over!

How long have you been doing fashion design yourself? Have you done any work for high-profile clients?

I'm still a student - a junior right now, technically, but I have done work for some of the local drag queens with commissions when they want more elaborate costumes. Um, I was working with Jirou for a little bit, and I had some pieces in the fashion show awhile back!

[ he even sends a few links to said outfits, so yogi knows what he's talking about. ]

Oh yeah, I enjoyed working on those. I don't mind less bright colors, but I like choosing fabrics with unique texture or subtle pattern in that case. Dark colors doesn't mean being boring, after all!

Aw, thank you! It means a lot for a professional to like my work! I think you could still stick with those, but if we update the cuts and accents, it can breathe new life into it - make you modern with a vintage twist, rather than just vintage, you know?
