It's strange.
Even though there are plenty of examples of times that things we users did had an impact on the city, I can never completely shake the feeling that none of what we do really matters.

Have you settled back in well to normal life? Semi-normal, at any rate.

Trying to, at least. It feels like every time we get a moment to catch our breath, all we have time to do is set things back in order before everything goes pear-shaped again.

That definitely has been my life for the last year and half. But the strangest thing is that, the more it that comes to pass, the more strangely comfortable I am in the role I've been slotted into by it. How much more natural it is for me to hold this sword and to do what circumstances demand be done.

I don't know. It's difficult to tell, given the nature of our lives here.

haven't.

I mean, I used to draw pictures for my sister. And I made a bunch of paper flowers for the children's hospital last summer. And stuff like that.

Did you enjoy doing papercraft?

I think so. It's sort of relaxing.
It did make my hands hurt after a while.

Likely because of the volume of art, not the art itself, I imagine. Still, it sounds like something you can put focus into.

I don't know how much room there is in my schedule right now for additional focuses...
It's definitely something to consider, though.

I don't mean like that. Papercraft is something you can do anywhere at any time, after all.

I mean it's a creative outlet, a way to express those feelings you have right now, about your place in things.
