Safe mode is now offline. Please be aware the infectant is still live. Manual debugging required. Retr ![]()
Per the mod plotting post, you may use this post to obtain one of this month's freebies! This month's freebie can be earned by turning in a thread on this post that has 10 or more consecutive comments from you.
Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Alphas, Betas, and Epsilons will notice that network posts will continue to be tagged without names attached but rather their newly issued IDs. OOCly, IDs are comprised of their title, the date they showed up on the app, and the digits on your character's inbox post. So for example, the Recollé NPC who was on the app would have an ID of Beta#0201188329. While user pictures can be displayed, Retrospec users will also experience broken pixels on occasion that obscure the face of whoever they're speaking to. (i.e. we will allow for players to play with an anonymous option if they wish.) |

And being cryptic is an industry standard.

Granted, that's still not as long as some people I've known, but it's enough for me to be able to say that what's been happening since the start of the summer isn't normal even by Retrospec standards... believe it or not, things did used to be more "lighthearted."

But yeah, exactly like mistletoe bats and bingo. And if the tone of Retrospec's monthly mishaps were still like that, then the costume and the emblem might have been innocuous enough, but nothing's really been that way since February.

Nothing can change my mind that those were just silly tests to throw everyone off.

Virtual candy was apparently that important to the rest of the network... but the joke's on them. It was just a distraction from the other terrible things that were going to happen both that month and the months that came after it all along, just like I had been saying.

Were you given any tip offs then or was it just a suspicious hunch?

Retrospec had given me no reason to trust their intentions back then... so everything they did was something to be scrutinized carefully instead of taken at face value.
