I don't know nearly enough about their "industry standards" to take a stab at it.

I don't really know an exact answer, but I think we could always try preparing for the worst, since there's always some sort of pattern between the Retrospec posts and what happens for the month, right?

That basically means preparing for computer viruses or virions of all kinds, which is easier said than done, considering how fast viruses can mutate.

It's not my field of study, and I'm already getting a headache thinking about it.

I don't think it's a bad thing to prepare for. But that also means we'll have to figure out where it started from, too. So that we can cut it straight from the source. And honestly, it's not the type of thing I study, either. But I might end up doing more research on this type of thing so that I have a better handle on it...

What is it you study? I don't think I've asked you before.

It's hard to find the source if it's something that spreads like an epidemic. I don't know the protocol for finding a patient zero.

Well, I'm actually taking a year off of school due to personal circumstances, but I was planning on studying a little more about languages and history. Well, specifically Chinese history. I don't know the protocol either, but a part of me doubts that finding it would be the same as how you'd normally find it.

It depends on the type of illness, if it is an illness. Either way, even if it won't be the same, it'd give us some kind of starting point, which is what we need.

Yeah. It's pretty interesting if you ask me? Especially the Romance of the Three Kingdoms era. Although it's honestly anything but actually romantic for a good amount of it. I mean... if it is an illness, at the very least we can get a head start in learning about stuff. Although the idea kind of worries me. Like, are we going to have to quarantine people?

Literature likes to romanticize history, but as I'm nothing of a history expert, I'll take your word for it.

I hope it doesn't become something like an epidemic. Do we have the resources to quarantine with the people who are aware of Retrospec? If it's something that won't touch those off the network, it'd be both a boon and a detriment.

It sure does, but that's why I always get a lot of sources. And I honestly have no idea. Guess I'll have to find out, huh?
