So for example, the Recollé NPC who was on the app would have an ID of Beta#0201188329. While user pictures can be displayed, Retrospec users will also experience broken pixels on occasion that obscure the face of whoever they're speaking to. (i.e. we will allow for players to play with an anonymous option if they wish.)

Thankfully, Retrospec has tons of people that don't mind listening. I'm still kind of hesitant about posting, but it's a lot better than dwelling on things, you know?

Yeah, I do. But my best friend is just a floor below me in my apartment building, so I don't actually feel like I'm completely on my own.

Just that we were talking about having someone around to talk to. I feel like I can talk my roommate anytime, even if it's just over text, but we can't talk about Retrospec stuff anymore, so it's kind of different.

I didn't mean it to sound like I'm super miserable now that I can't talk to Minato about Retrospec anymore...
It was just, you know, you mentioned how there's always someone on Retrospec, and then I was thinking about people in real life, but then I was thinking, you know, the real-life people aren't always also Retrospec people.

I was just saying that people on Retrospec can help try to fill that gap, if nothing else.

It must be a lot harder when someone who was originally from the same world loses access... Someone you actually had a lot of shared memories with, and stuff like that. It always seemed so strange to me when people would talk about their friends who'd lost the app almost like they'd died, you know? And it still doesn't totally make sense, but it's probably just because I can't relate.
