It really kind of depends on what the person wants. The more elaborate the costume, the more expensive. I'm willing to do trades and stuff too. Did you have something in mind?

OH, a bat could be cute-! Especially a stylized one. You have a friends circle and social right? I get a discount on fabrics at the store I work at, I'll give you a discount on my making it, and you make up the rest in making sure everyone knows who made your costume. Besides, it'll be fun. And that counts for a lot for me!
