OOCly, IDs are comprised of their title, the date they showed up on the app, and the digits on your character's inbox post. So for example, the Recollé NPC who was on the app would have an ID of Beta#0201188329. While user pictures can be displayed, Retrospec users will also experience broken pixels on occasion that obscure the face of whoever they're speaking to. (i.e. we will allow for players to play with an anonymous option if they wish.)

Hopefully they do replace Zee. I'm a bit worried they just won't bother to fill his position at all, or if they do, they won't let the person have extended contact with us.

that concerns me too. i have a feeling if they do replace him, it won't be until after his murderer has been found.

Right, and I imagine they're being very careful right now. They know everyone's keeping an eye out for them, so I'll be surprised if they manage to find this person all that easily.

Whoever it is has managed to cover their tracks very well so far, but it's very difficult to pull off the perfect murder. There's a clue somewhere to their identity. We just have to find it.

Precisely. I'm sure they will be caught, and I'm curious to see just how that will be handled. Most of Recollé isn't aware of Retrospec, so I have to wonder if this will be handled by Retrospec themselves... and if so, how they'll explain that to the police.

If Retrospec could handle this themselves, I'd think they'd have already done it. We really do give them too much credit sometimes. And on the flip side of that, I'd really like to avoid any situation where the app users take matters into their own hands. I don't think we're going to figure out how to deal with them until we figure out how they killed Zee in the first place.

Fair enough! I do agree that this isn't something we should take into our own hands. Vigilante justice like that will really only cause more problems than it'll solve. I'm curious to see how this will turn out when they are caught.

I'm curious as well. The police dept and the DA's office were happy enough to convict that kid for Zee's murder, so it's not outside of impossible for the real murderer to get convicted. It's the reaction from the app users that's going to be interesting. Some of us know this person. Perhaps really well.
