While user pictures can be displayed, Retrospec users will also experience broken pixels on occasion that obscure the face of whoever they're speaking to. (i.e. we will allow for players to play with an anonymous option if they wish.)

I guess that's just another way to look at it.

I wouldn't mind being more like my other self. Like Yang. She can hold her own in a lot of ways that I could only dream of. She seems to carry herself with a free spirit and confidence I envy.

I'm sure if there was a lot of negative baggage to come with being her I'd think a lot differently.

If the person in your memories is admirable or isn't a terrible person, that's understandable. It would be fortunate if it were that way for everyone. Then, this Retrospec business wouldn't have the potential to be more terrible.

It's probably optimistic - or naive - of me to want to assume the best out of everyone no matter where they're from or what they remember. I know that can't always be the case.

It's both. I can tell you for a fact it's not true for everyone, but there are those out there who need people like you.

For some, optimism is a shining and saving force.
