[text] i could say i'm sorry but i'm not (except i am. i really, really am.)
I've finally got this song together, but I'm still stumped on the title. I'm putting the lyrics in here for anyone who's got any ideas. Consider this an open call for song title suggestions.
Lyrics:
You punched a hole in my heart, and now
I'm an empty vessel, waiting for the music to fill the blank spaces.
What am I supposed to do now?
Nothing left but to forget all the sneering faces
I feel like a forgotten bag of chips abandoned on the streets, my soul shattered and scattering to the winds like potato leaves.
I’d break the whole world if I could
Just to make sure no one ever has to grieves
Again, and I'd break the whole world but I don't think that I should
The emptiness inside of me is hardening like cement
And now there's nothing that can fit through the cracks and spaces
Nothing left but to watch the spiraling descent
Nothing left but to remember all the sneering faces
I feel like a forgotten bag of chips abandoned on the streets, my soul shattered and scattering to the winds like potato leaves.
I’d break the whole world if I could
Just to make sure no one ever has to grieves
Again, and I'd break the whole world but I don't think that I should
[fade out]

Also a lot harder to actually get into a fight with someone over.

Anyway, I'm always impressed when someone just makes an effort to be creative. That takes a lot more courage than I'd ever have.

Like those guys have ever made anything decent in their lives.

A lot of people don't appreciate that.

Okay, I'm gonna let that one slide because I'm 80% sure that you weren't saying my songs are crap. But seriously. You have got to start thinking about how you phrase this stuff.
But yeah, the indie scene isn't always full of great music but at least it's genuine and it's raw.

I was talking more towards that everyone has to start somewhere and no one's allowed to be a work in progress or develop themselves. Music, writing, it's all the same. People seem more interested in criticizing a work right off than helping it develop and I don't think that's really fair.
Sorry if I keep giving you the wrong impression.
it literally took me like a week and a half to figure out how to tag this fml
it's fine!
