...so which is it, science or magic? Which one are they actually using for this whole project?
But I guess it's nice to know those dumb doors did something.
And obviously the best tradition's winter break. Does that mean if I think about it really hard we'll get even more time off? One hopes.
...here's a question for anyone reading this. Is it normal to have memories return to you and have things missing from them?

Like something's been totally removed or omitted. Names. Places. Some faces.
I remember talking to people in some of my memories but I don't know their names. And I remember hearing things, but certain words seem to drop out.
Does that make sense?

Yeah, there's a lot of that going on but also a lot of it seems to be names even though that doesn't make any sense. I can guess based on clues, but it's weird that they're being omitted at all.

Yeah, exactly that. Is that normal? Does that happen to people a lot?

i think so
long and coherent memories dont seem as common as random disconnected stuff

Why is that? Has anyone taken any guesses to figuring that part out?
Everything I've remembered so far is pretty disjointed so that makes sense, but it doesn't make it any less annoying.

i guess there area lot of theories but its all pretty mysterious
maybe whatever original source it is that gives us these memories in the first place is blocking things in part

i suppose that we do?? nobodys said they have EVERYTHING back yet but i suppose that it will happen at some point if enough time passes etc etc

It's only been a couple of years since this app thing even came up, right? Somebody said it's been two.
Maybe that's not enough time for someone to regain everything.
...or maybe we're not supposed to? I wish I knew.

Both, kind of, but I'm talking the variety of "the audio drops out of my own memories." If that makes sense.
But there's definitely gaps in whatever I've been getting back because it's like two different stories.

... I've never experienced the audio dropping in my memories? I've experience gaps that tend to fill themselves in as times goes on.

Without context it's very difficult to figure out what's going on.

My entire last name was omitted. Which doesn't make any sense.
The name of this guy I saw was removed, too. I could feel myself saying the words, but nothing happened.
...so it's either that, or my memories are broken.

Until you have more context I don't think you can say for certain if it's actually your memories or something lost in translation, so to speak...

What other context would I need? I introduced myself and I don't know why I would blank out my own name.

Maybe there was something happening that blanked out certain words, and as of right now you don't have the context for it.

Yes, an actual mouse. But with a little mask on. I was quite cute, if I do say so myself.

Yes. Totally normal, at least for me it was. Names certain words would obviously be said out of a person's mouth, but I couldn't hear it. Also, some memories are cut short or I wouldn't get the full memory until months later.

Why is that? Anybody know what's causing that?

Why? No idea. But it can be annoying when you are trying to figure things out. The cause? Again, no idea.
