Welcome back, users. Looks like we were able to bring you back online and tracked again...here's hoping the layers are settled now, but the readings are off the chart. We're doing our best to stabilize the city for December while we track some of the magical sources we're picking up. It may take us some time though, so please bear with us!

We may be working through the holidays, too, if this keeps up. But it's okay. You opened the doors and new routes for us to check.

I thought the weirdness would stop after I got away from that castle last month. But now I find out it's just begun?

I don't have any more of an idea what's going on than you do, really, but the way I see it we don't have much of a choice here but to roll with the punches.

That and the house with all the traps in it. After those two I didn't dare go to the others.

I'm not really keen on being punched at all. Usually I'm the one doing the punching.

I only went to the castle. ...Granted, I was stupid enough to go to the castle multiple times, so I'm not really sure what that says about me, but. If I don't do anything like that again it'll be too soon, but I get the feeling I don't get a choice in the matter.

Fair enough. Guess I can only hope that you manage to knock out whatever gets thrown at us before it can land a hit on you, then.

Yeah, people seem to be indicating that level of weird is pretty common. Someone send me a couple documents about all of it and I feel like my eyes are about to pop out of my head.

I can at least try.

You got documents? More than me, at this point, I've just gotten the layman's version from a couple of people. I don't know if I'd know what I was reading even if I got them, though.

Still, I've heard about the same. That that was common, and there can be worse. Not sure I'm looking forward to finding out how much worse firsthand...

Someone linked me to this which then lead me to this. I'm only partway through the 'guide' and my head already hurts. But the thoroughness kind of lends it some credence?

I feel the same. I'm not sure I want to know what 'worse' is. Though if i keep reading the guide, I'll probably find out.

Well, I don't know too many details, but I know people were apparently turning into monsters back in October? Straight out of some kind of horror movie.

Wait. I think I remember there being a corn maze in the city back in October. And now that I think about it... that is really weird!!! Why didn't I think it was weird that I'd get lost every day going to school?

Well... I've heard that people who aren't on the app just... don't notice all the weird stuff. Or they do, but they forget all about it. And it's not until we get the app that any of this actually registers to us.

Don't ask me how any of that works, though. I don't have much of a choice but to take everything at face value right now.

I got lucky, in that sense. I noticed things on my own, and when I actually looked into things I got educated on the basics pretty fast from there. Didn't have to worry about weirding anyone else out, at least

Yeah. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is for now. We'll just have to find another way to make our own impact, is all.

That's an interesting phrase. "Make our own impract." What do you mean by that?

Well, no matter how we look at this, it's our lives that are being affected here. We might not have much of a choice but to accept that this is what's happening, but that doesn't mean we can't do anything at all.

Who knows how much we might be able to change, but we can still make some impact. These are our lives, after all.

And if we don't try to change anything at all, for sure nothing will change.

Right, exactly.
