Yeah, for such a small userbase, you'd think there'd be one. On the one hand, I can understand privacy issues, but on the other this isn't exactly a traditional social media app, and Retrospec is constantly telling us to work together.

And that would be seriously annoying, if they've just been sitting back and watching.

If they are an Alpha user, is there really another option? Jim is still the easy answer, and he’d count for that purpose, because he’s still monitoring us, just not allowed to communicate.

There are only a handful of us who have been on the app since the very very beginning, and all of us have experienced changes, so we couldn’t have already integrated before this started.

Can it really be Jim though? What the ghost said implies they were still just a regular user when the app was launched, and Jim was already an employee.

Unless, like you said, they just never commented. But how well have we really kept track of the people who were there at the very beginning?

When the app was launched? Or when they tried a round of integration? We know they've tried this multiple times. The app might be the new variable.

As for how well we've kept track of people, who do you think you're talking to?

Everybody still on the app from my very first spreadsheet has had some kind of visible Retrospec change.

Let's call them Subject A. The progress of Subject A directly lead to the release of the app. And then the wording implies there was some period of time before Subject A became a Retrospec employee.

Have you also been keeping track of the people who are no longer on the app? Because what if Subject A didn't drop off the app, but got promoted instead? Not everyone gets very visible physical changes. All Zee had was an eye color change.

I can guarantee you it's not Ardyn or Grell Izunia, Gentiana Illyria, or Koutarou Takao? Add in us dozen still on the app from the beginning, and that only leaves 80-something suspects. Awesome.

GOD DAMN IT ALL, this still doesn't discount Jim, because he didn't announce himself until that marriage proposal a month and a half after this all started! I hate this theory!

Well. If we can put a list together, we can try to track them down. If we really feel like digging up whomever this is.

The Jim theory is extremely cursed.

Hang on. What would we gain from figuring out who it is? Let's start there. Say, for example, okay. It's not Ardyn, but pretend we just proved that Ardyn Izunia is working with Retrospec.

Then what?

Then we might have someone who could communicate back and forth between us and Retrospec, the way Zee used to?

Which would be nice.
