Welcome back, users. Looks like we were able to bring you back online and tracked again...here's hoping the layers are settled now, but the readings are off the chart. We're doing our best to stabilize the city for December while we track some of the magical sources we're picking up. It may take us some time though, so please bear with us!

We may be working through the holidays, too, if this keeps up. But it's okay. You opened the doors and new routes for us to check.

i guess i get it. if they're always on top of you then that would get annoying pretty fast, but... i don't know, maybe it's because i wasn't here but it doesn't seem, like, AWFUL...

It's far from the worst ureality-ish thing that's ever happened. But that has some pretty stiff competition.

i guess that's their idea of taking it easy on us for the holidays. which i cannot wait for, honestly, so bring on whatever they want as long as it doesn't mean there's another blood moon.

which, um, reminds me. do you know anything about that second, shattered moon?

About as much as you do, which is pretty much nothing. It's there now, can't do much about it.

It doesn't, but also, really? I'm the weirdest? One of my friends' past lives had a chicken for a secretary. Another found out that the universe was made out of a frog their sister bred.

well, think about some of the things you've told me! about your book-scythe that's also more things that i don't know if you want me to talk about on a public network, or the ink, or anything like that, you know?

i mean, my roommate has gun fists, and one of my best friends is an alien, and that's not even going into the things i've learned about what Two used to be, but not a lot else comes close, really

I know my past life is more weird than people who were just an idol with no magic involved whatsoever (even if they were super extra about it), I just don't think of mine as the most weird. Part of that's probably because I'm used to it now, but also you just hear/see a lot of shit when you've had the network for a while.

yeah... sometimes it's hard to remember that i've only had the app since early April (๑•﹏•) and that i used to use wayyyy more kaomoji

things change so fast around here that it's hard to keep track sometimes. but you're right, honestly the things i know about you don't even strike me as that weird anymore? i'm... i got used to the way things work here really, really fast. i feel like i should maybe be a little more worried about that.

Maybe you should, but I think everyone's like that to some degree. You adapt. You have to adapt or else you'll never manage, no matter how weird the things you have to get used to are.

yeah. i guess it's not a bad quality, right? when our entire lives can change at the whims of someone we can't even see, at basically the drop of a hat? if we don't learn how to adapt and adapt FAST, we're all going to be in serious trouble.

that's what growing up in an orphanage does to you, i guess. learn how to do everything fast because they change even faster.

It's a quality a lot of us have. At one point I thought that was the quality Retrospec selected for, the ability to deal with everything changing constantly and throwing more and more bullshit at us.

but it's really more like... they pick people almost totally at random, right? i know me and my sisters all (mostly) got on here so maybe they care about keeping families together, but.

it's nice to try to find patterns, but sometimes there just aren't any, i guess. :\

You're right. It'd be comforting if there was a reason I got the app, but there really isn't.

maybe there wasn't one when we first got it, but it's pretty easy to find some reasons now. maybe i was supposed to meet people like you. (▰˘v˘▰)
