Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Any emails sent to the HR department will be returned with a failure to send notification, and will furthermore automatically be posted to the Retrospec network. Oops?

Characters who have been in game for one month will find they can now change their profile pictures.

Glitches will be in effect until the 15th and may include:
-Usernames changing to a cat, dog, or bird pun.
-The Retrospec application being changed into a neon color + animal theme of some variety.
-Notifications going off at random and being unable to be turned off.
-Various "special effects" crossing the screens when people comment.
-Users having to beat a level of pac-man to access the application, and then being made to beat a new level every hour to keep using the application.
-Thomas the Tank Engine memes being sent to users every hour for some reason.
-Profile pictures being replaced by pictures of rabbits and easter eggs.
-New creepy pasta stories appearing upon log-in, to be forwarded to someone before the app can continue to be used
-Parental lock and auto-correct on cursing (i.e. fuck -> duck)
-A parade of pixel Chocobos or dancing fruit scrolling across the screen after each comment posted

Hitori Togusa If you've got an application, especially one as complicated as this, even though it's got a limited user base, how long does it take to rebuild it to fix bugs?

Nyardyn Mewzunia That's the same as saying "at least there's a window now", when you expected a completed house.
Nyardyn Mewzunia It all reeks of incompetency, and while amusing to a degree, it's rather annoying in other measures.

Hitori Togusa It's frustrating that it turned out to just be courier-run, because it cut off what could have been a good resource. Sometimes you run an investigation past the postal inspectors, you get your data faster, because they have a shorter backlog than the other criminal sections.

Nyardyn Mewzunia A dog, to be precise.
Nyardyn Mewzunia Has anyone intercepted whoever it is that's delivering these "packages"? Surely it's only a matter of time before it happens; a friendly sort of interrogation would be in order when it does.

Hitori Togusa A dog? Did you get a dog? Who got a dog?
Hitori Togusa No, I know that's not really important, but now I have to know.
Hitori Togusa And, well, no. I don't think anybody's thought to do it yet. Either they employ their own, and it's going to be harder to get our hands on them, or it's going to turn out they just use one of the regular courier services in the city.

Hitori Togusa I have the sudden urge to call up a friend of mine who works for one of the delivery services here.

Hitori Togusa Aww. Strange, but somehow that's cute.

Hitori Togusa Haha, oh, he'd like that. Not a chance. If I need to call in help, we do have licensed private investigators in the city.

Hitori Togusa Prompto delivers to the station a lot, we kind of became friends along the way.
Hitori Togusa Reminds me a little too much of a younger me, so to be drawn to the exact same teacher, too? That's funny.

Hitori Togusa The current winner is the young lady who got sent the smiling fruit before the rest of us were subjected to the change.
Hitori Togusa Who knows what's next? I'm afraid to even make a suggestion, because Retrospec will find away to surpass the most ridiculous thing I could come up with.

Nyardyn Mewzunia Has there been any correlation between what has been sent, and the "memories" that plague us, however?
Nyardyn Mewzunia If that's the case, then you need only hope that said memories are mundane and unexciting, and therefore you'll be sent nothing ridiculous at all.

[Togusa almost flat-out lies to Ardyn, when he remembers that one of the only other people who knows that Togusa has gotten anything is Ardyn's own brother so maybe he shouldn't outright lie, if Fynn could bust him so easily.]

Hitori Togusa I wouldn't know, because I've missed out on the fun of the hallucinomemories.
Hitori Togusa Only other example I can think of was a guy that got a cat plush in the mail, and he didn't remember anything about it.

Hitori Togusa I don't know what to tell you, then. Either I need to luck into the right conversations, or there's nothing to tell.

Hitori Togusa If you're just recalling things like your normal memory, then how come it sticks out? You'd said something before about snow, you're sure that it's something that you can't have done before, instead of it just being an incident that you'd forgotten about?

Nyardyn Mewzunia Naturally, I can't speak for everyone, but there are qualities that simply don't make sense in the context of experiences that I've merely... forgotten about.

[Though to be fair, it's not like Togusa would know. He hasn't spoken to the man about it in finer detail.]
