Hello and happy new year! A lot of poll results came in from R&D and we've almost fixed taste all the way. Horses are almost fixed, too. We've been working pretty much non-stop around the holidays to stabilize everything, so I hope this works! Just so you guys know, while we were working on fixing the original problems we received some alerts of residual effects outside of our usual domain. Don't worry though! Remember what I said a while ago? We're still moving more resources around into better defenses to protect the city from huge storms like last summer. We'll be taking care of that really soon and isolating the unknown problem. I wish I could tell you more, but we're all working overtime here to finish the final stages of a big project. No matter what happens you guys should be safe while we finish up, so just stay calm, okay? Don't get too reckless! So just to verify, is this the fiasco with the monsters and people supposedly vanishing all over again? That's what the last unreality storm consisted of, if I'm not mistaken - is that about right, or was there more to it somehow?

Where did you even go, anyway, if you were one of the people who disappeared?

Or you could all just scream at me about the giant ice ball again if you don't feel like answering. That was an entertaining way to spend my evening, if nothing else.

If anything, I prefer not to? There's always something to be done, that much is true, but I usually put myself on call in the event that something happens even when I do have the holidays off.

It's not so farfetched. I think you're the type to naturally keep your eyes on the whole board, rather than falling into the trap of getting fixated on just one segment of it. When you're faced with multiple adversaries at once, you instinctively keep tabs on what all of them are doing, don't you?

I admit I don't know much about the subway, other than that it's been closed for a conspicuously long time. Although, given that by virtue of its design, it could run beneath the entire city with none of us thinking anything of it...I think you might just be on to something.

Now there's a thought I shudder to contemplate. Losing taste is an inconvenience, to be sure, but it doesn't come close to the sort of chaos that might ensue if we were all to abruptly lose our sight or our hearing.

It's possible? I don't know how she could avoid being caught, really, when the method she's using of conveying the information is administrated by the very people she wouldn't want noticing.
