It's been a while, hasn't it? I'm afraid things are really quite busy here, and unfortunately our liaison has been compromised. Well...so have a lot of people, actually. Are you still yourself if you're not the self you were? It's the kind of conversation we've had a lot of times, around here. I've always only been myself, but if I woke up tomorrow as someone else, would I still be me even if I wasn't? I think rather than worrying about that the best thing I can do is focus on trying to sort things out as best I can. I'm a little worried, actually, but I think I can manage to give everyone a shot even if I can't fix things on my own or even with everyone's help. But you can help! Or at least I think it will help if you think about what it means to be "you". It's okay if that answer changes or doesn't. Just hold onto that concept and don't let it go. And maybe tell other people what you think it means? Not like I'm saying you have to talk about that. I think usually you all just talk about anything, and I think that is also a good way to hold onto who you are and who you want to be. Sometimes I think it'd be fun, all those parties or little plans. I've never spent much time outside of these walls, did you know? I don't have time to really ramble, though. Those of you who know what I mean, we're doing our best. Those of you who don't, you do your best too. Pay attention to the things you tell yourself, and I'll try to fix what I can fix. How am I supposed to question what "I" am when there's an alternate "me," all thanks to you, Retrospec? You may not reply but given that you probably monitor these anyway, I still want you to know that I hate you. Not all of us are so lucky to have a simple, basic concept of self! Even rejecting the memories don't mean anything if there's still more than one "you" coexisting in the same place. How is that supposed to be fixed, Joanne? You idiot.

Agreed. A little more hard work on their end wouldn't be such a bad thing... In fact, it's more than likely the first time they've ever had to work hard at all!

As for what exactly it is they screwed up this time, I honestly don't really care at this point... I just want them to stop spamming up my feed with pointless drivel that neither they or we can apparently do anything about.

I was saying the same things last month. It's a cycle... They screw something up and make a useless post about it, and it repeats itself often. They don't seem capable of learning from their past mistakes... It's not like there aren't plenty to choose from.

At this point, let whatever is going to come, come, and we'll figure out how to deal with it on our own.

Don't you see Bakhura... They're trying to be less sensationalist this time. Instead they want us to get philosophical and question the concept of self, although many of us have already been doing that since the memories started happening... So not only are they unhelpful, but they're behind the times as well.

All in all: useless.

In a way, that's almost an improvement in and of itself.

It's better than the consistently uninformative warnings of preparing ourselves for "residual effects" as if we don't do that every month already.

But at the same time, it's the kind of question that I see Retrospec users posting all the time... and now they want to repost it and take credit for it for themselves, knowing they'll get more comments than everyone else just because everyone wants to give them a piece of their mind despite knowing that Retrospec will never answer anyway.

I'm guessing a restraining order won't do much. There's a chance that things will go differently, a chance that things will progress the same. But that's how it always is, I can't really offer anything less generic.

If it helps, I, too, do not know who "I" am. I never asked myself any questions as to who I was and what defined me as me, so I have no answer, either.

In short, what I am saying is that no one knows who they are. They only have a version of themselves that they want others to see. So when you think of yourself, you should think what you want others to describe when they think of you.
