Safe mode is now offline. Please be aware the infectant is still live. Manual debugging required. Retr spec Incorporated
Per the mod plotting post, you may use this post to obtain one of this month's freebies! This month's freebie can be earned by turning in a thread on this post that has 10 or more consecutive comments from you.
Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Alphas, Betas, and Epsilons will notice that network posts will continue to be tagged without names attached but rather their newly issued IDs. OOCly, IDs are comprised of their title, the date they showed up on the app, and the digits on your character's inbox post. So for example, the Recollé NPC who was on the app would have an ID of Beta#0201188329. While user pictures can be displayed, Retrospec users will also experience broken pixels on occasion that obscure the face of whoever they're speaking to. (i.e. we will allow for players to play with an anonymous option if they wish.) |

Beta#06010602
Though the only mysteries I've been working on lately were my own.
Re: Beta#06010602
Alpha#02010681 If there's anything I can help you out with, I'd be glad to.

Sorry. I should have clarified.
I'm Jen Bowen. Not Yin Longwei. I know we look *mostly* alike on the photos, but uh, things have changed.
A lot.
Still have the mysterious high-tech arm now, but with some serious upgrades. That was one mystery.

Alpha#02010681 Miss Bowen. Thank you for contacting me, I can already tell you that your alibi has been stated to me.
Alpha#02010681 On that front, can you remember anyone else who was involved with the 'floating building' incident? I know that was a tragedy, but please. None of you could have been responsible for Zee.

And I'm glad I don't have to explain much in detail. I'm glad that at least this way I don't have any arrest records anymore.
Oh, you mean the Flying Death Cake. Yeah, I was there - but who told you?
no subject
Alpha#02010681 Lita Geteilt. I was questioning her in regards to Zee's death, she has the power set that could have done it. But it's impossible, none of you who were involved could have hurt Zee.

Look, don't ask. It was a weird experience.
It sounds like you were told the best account of what happened that day. I can't add much to it because I wasn't involved with many there. I was there when Lina told me it was happening, and I fought along with Kara and some younger guy named Albert and that's where all my focus was.

Alpha#02010681 And Albert...not Albert Matthews? What the hell was Matthews' brother doing there?
no subject
Not to worry, though. Kara and I kept him safe the whole time and I got him away from the action once I was sure he couldn't fight with us.
no subject
Alpha#02010681 After the fact, do you have any idea what that was about? I. Well, unfortunately, I slept through the whole things in the dreamscapes.
no subject
Lina's family seems to want to deal with it in-house and I respect that.

Alpha#02010681 It doesn't even seem like there was any lasting damage, after the city got.. whatever that was last month and then back again?
no subject
Yeah, I'm hoping no sleepers got hurt. I'll admit I didn't stick around to check after things got hairy. i wasn't about to check if I could survive laser blasts.

Alpha#02010681 If it'll ease everybody's mind, I can look into the reports from the days I was out of it, just to make sure the city was okay.
no subject
Sorry if that's insensitive. I've been so wrapped up in my own stuff I haven't really checked in on many other people lately.

Alpha#02010681 A number of us were falling into immersive dreamscapes, and we couldn't wake back up until a core problem was solved. First it was my own, then I drifted into one of a good friend of mine. We could still even see those clocks on our hands, so we knew time was passing, even thought it was passing strangely, because it was a dream.
no subject
I was involved in a few of those dreams, too. Both mine and others. It's basically how I came to know more clearly what the deal was with Yin and her life here in the city.
no subject
Alpha#02010681 Oh. How different from you was she? If it's not too personal?
no subject
We both had the same memories of our other life, though. The one Retrospec gave us glimpses of.
It's an existential crisis in the making that's for sure.
