We're doing our best to stabilize the city for December while we track some of the magical sources we're picking up. It may take us some time though, so please bear with us! it does make me a little concerned about how stable this whole thing is.

but at the same time, everyone just goes back to their lives before retrospec. so it's not like some terrible thing is happening to them.

my last apartment building caught fire. my apartment only received water and smoke damage, but honestly it's a miracle it didn't happen sooner.

[it wasn't legal. that place is hopefully shut down, but that doesn't mean there aren't others like it~]

You know what's always annoyed me about the Retrospec app, itself? As a social networking app, if that is the only thing it was doing?

There's no user list.

The user lists I've put together are the result of doing it backwards, looking at who is posting and knowing they're a user that way. Even when people disappear, we have to try to message them before we know sometimes.

So if somebody has been a user the entire time and just never posted or commented, but has been sitting back and watching for two years now?

We'd never know.

The both of us were new here our first year, and, it's hard to explain just how isolated and lonely we both felt. I know he had it worse, because he didn't even have the option to go back home, even if we'd had the money. But he just tried to keep his chin up. Doing something silly kept us both from going all the way into resenting the holidays.
