retrospec | (no subject)

Happy New Years, users.

I'll cut to the chase; the barrier we instilled a few months ago is decaying quickly and we're sorting through the new data as fast as we can. This barrier was originally designed to contain a rogue error. There are several of you who have taken care of this issue and from here we will handle the rest...thank you. The influx of data will help us decode our next steps.

As mentioned, we've spent December tracing several magical sources that are coming up in our readings. We're doing the best we can to trace Clarence--Mr. Vanderweele, and corral the effects he's altering in the city. I believe we're ready to tear down the firewall and begin exploring further. If our information is correct, we're really breaking the boundaries of the layers we've discovered lately! It's exciting, don't you think?

The only information I can offer is that we will need you to be strong no matter what happens. We believe things have changed outside of security measures we've set in place, though we will need more data to understand the best way to stabilize the city from his control. We understand if you cannot and do not wish to help, but please know we're doing everything we can.

I've been told I COULD use magic back in my past life. Looks like it's taking its sweet time coming to me though So it depends if you want to count those with potential Or if they count at all

If Retrospec is looking into already active magical sources, then probably not. I don't know myself if they keep a record of what abilities or powers other people had in their other lives... if they did, there'd probably be less problems.

If it helps, I know that it takes some time for this stuff to return. Someone I know... she used to have magic herself, but she lost the app and she still hasn't gotten it back even though she's on it again.

True, bet they really don't know WHAT to expect from what came from our worlds. And they can't keep track of every world They can't even keep track of US [see: November.]

Heh, it does...I've gotten a lot back lately, like my weapons and stuff, but it seems like the rest of it's kinda crawlin' to get to me. That or I'm just impatient

Losing track of us seems like a more recent problem, but... I wish they did a better job at all of this. There's a lot of unfortunate things people wind up with that go unchecked because they don't monitor these things properly.

It seems like the weapons and stuff are usually the first thing people get back. I had the app for about a month before I got my sword

(and still does know, bless his innocent soul) Granted, his mom is back in Hong Kong and his current guardian is only a year younger than Crow, so he wouldn't have the onslaught of an angry parent on his back-- but he would probably have a pissy classmate after him, so. Either way, Crow's priorities are definitely in the right place!!]

I don't see why you'd be jealous of a sword when you have those. They sound pretty cool to me.

Do they just reload, or do the magic bullets do other things, too?

It's weird. It's light, like there's nothing in there to start...the bullets just form and fire when I pull the trigger
