Happy New Years, users. I'll cut to the chase; the barrier we instilled a few months ago is decaying quickly and we're sorting through the new data as fast as we can. This barrier was originally designed to contain a rogue error. There are several of you who have taken care of this issue and from here we will handle the rest...thank you. The influx of data will help us decode our next steps. As mentioned, we've spent December tracing several magical sources that are coming up in our readings. We're doing the best we can to trace Clarence--Mr. Vanderweele, and corral the effects he's altering in the city. I believe we're ready to tear down the firewall and begin exploring further. If our information is correct, we're really breaking the boundaries of the layers we've discovered lately! It's exciting, don't you think? The only information I can offer is that we will need you to be strong no matter what happens. We believe things have changed outside of security measures we've set in place, though we will need more data to understand the best way to stabilize the city from his control. A Horcrux. It's REALLY DARK MAGIC!I wonder if Vanderwheel did something similar. To even create a Horcrux, a wizard first had to deliberately commit murder. This act, said to be one of supreme evil, would result in the murderer metaphysically damaging their own soul. A wizard who wished to create a Horcrux would then use that damage to their advantage by casting a spell which would rip the damaged portion of the soul and encase it in an object. If the maker was later killed, he or she would continue to exist in a non-corporeal form.

Vanderwheel killed two children, thus damaging his soul twice. What if he has TWO! Even if we find the actual Vanderwheel, he will still be alive because some random object has a piece of is soul!

It's a working theory if anything. Non=corporeal or corporeal. Someone just told me a bit ago that he can do Illusion magic, thus he could be projecting himself in a younger form when he's a really old wrinkly man for all we know. Again, all of this is theoretical.

If he's got Illusion magic and CAN make a younger form of himself, he's probably smart enough to mask his appearance at some point too

So we'll have to keep that in mind
