Happy New Years, users. I'll cut to the chase; the barrier we instilled a few months ago is decaying quickly and we're sorting through the new data as fast as we can. This barrier was originally designed to contain a rogue error. There are several of you who have taken care of this issue and from here we will handle the rest...thank you. The influx of data will help us decode our next steps. As mentioned, we've spent December tracing several magical sources that are coming up in our readings. We're doing the best we can to trace Clarence--Mr. Vanderweele, and corral the effects he's altering in the city. I believe we're ready to tear down the firewall and begin exploring further. If our information is correct, we're really breaking the boundaries of the layers we've discovered lately! It's exciting, don't you think? The only information I can offer is that we will need you to be strong no matter what happens. We believe things have changed outside of security measures we've set in place, though we will need more data to understand the best way to stabilize the city from his control. but, right, a bell! that’s not was he was expecting, but a surprise and challenge just the way he likes them. you know the drill by now: steps back, static, a loud crack, and tissue forming around eren until there stands a titan.

first come his knuckles; they shine until they’re a brilliant blue crystal, and he flexes them to get an idea. then step two: there’s another light in his hands, not unlike magic. think bell— and what he drops onto the forest floor is a crystallized, titan sized barbell. he

[Okay so it doesn't matter if that's not a bell, because Eren sure just conjured a fricking thing out of midair like it was magic. Magic!!!]

the next attempt gives birth to, not a bell, but two dumbbells for each titan hand, and eren screams. still not a bell but???? he has to drop them (they all clatter against each other) and he signs with a lot of emphasis:

[Elliot jumps out of the way from the falling crossbow so he doesn't get crushed by accident. In fact he gets back a little just in case Eren decides to get out of titan form. No need to get caught up in that steam bath.]

Eheh...it's okay, you just got over excited...

[ any ideas? he signs with a gruff sounding grah sound, as if to wave off giving himself some slack. no, he was a dumbass. he was a big, fifteen metered dumbass. attempting to bunch them up together in a single pile, crystal clinks and clacks with crystal— can it break apart, maybe?

after a pause, eren puts his hands on them and furrows his brows. it’s really quiet and it looks like he’s trying. trying so hard.

then this replaces everything else towering a good twenty meters, and if a titan could look euphoric

which is to say, eren’s titan hands are all over his face, enough that his pointed ears point right out of them. he’s ready to come out now, making sure the titan’s shoulders are somewhere near the actual ground before ripping himself out and stumbling out of the steam mess. tired, because look at everything he made, but—

[As Eren comes stumbling out of the steam, Elliot will come to meet him. His arms will wrap around his waist to help catch his stumbling and tired fiance. He's not exactly strong to hold all of Eren's weight, but he can try!

He's laughing a little though, as the shock wears off]
