Just a couple of things.

-I'm turning 25 on Monday and it seems like the kind of thing you should do something for. I was going to invite people to the pool until some things happened, but now I don't want to, so. I'm going to be at the Inkwell and will accept all birthday congratulations, gifts, and complaints about how grey water is super weird.

Anyone can come, it's not like I run the bar. Unless you're that guy that threatened me, you have to stay at least ten feet away from me at all times.

[Water being grey now is not actually why the pool party is being called off, but it makes an excellent excuse.]

-Does anyone have any advice about explaining your sudden changes in behavior to people who know you really well but don't know what's going on with Retrospec? I can't not talk to my parents.

It shouldn't be that much of a concern, explaining things to them.

Someone I know tried to explain their changes to me, back before I got the app. I was willing to accept so many things that now I'm more perplexed by how many things I didn't find odd.

There's a special kind of horror that comes from realizing you accepted dancing fruit with faces as normal.

There were also changes that affected them directly, similar to the ones we're seeing becoming more prevalent now. Those were likewise accepted after a brief bout of skepticism.

I still haven't figured out how to, and I've had things going on since February. Trying to explain has earned me weird looks and comments, while saying it's nothing to be concerned about sometimes earns suspicion.
